Colby seniors studying studio art have spent four years working toward capstone projects in printmaking, photography, painting, and sculpture. This exhibition offers participating students the opportunity to exhibit their work and participate in the museum’s exhibition process from start to finish.
Seniors have worked with studio art professors in their respective disciplines and members of the museum staff to realize this collaborative project that celebrates the culmination of their studio art studies at Colby. This year’s contributing seniors are Amani Tran, Annika Hogan, Ari Trueba, Ava Stotz, Emma Baker, Isabella Farren, Jess Xing, Lily Craig, Maeve DiSandro, Marthe Unkap, Max Jacobs, Mina Ekstrom, Morgan Cheney, Raghav Kadambi, Ric Yamamoto, Samah Mahamedzein, Viva Goetze, and Vivian Sullivan.
An exhibition catalogue containing images, artists’ statements, and analyses of works in the show written by students in AR356 Writing Art Criticism will accompany the exhibition.
