Cities Aviv is the stage name of Gavin Mays, a rap artist and record producer from Memphis who was formerly a member of the hardcore punk band Copwatch. Mays released his debut album, BLACK PLEASURE 2012, in 2012.

Mays felt inclined to shine a spotlight on his choice of organ, the pineal gland: “Western science and medicine seem to have slept on its importance. It is said that those who interface with the pineal gland (or third eye, as it’s sometimes referred to) often have extrasensory perceptions,” he explained. He evokes that process in this hypnotic track.
